Twenty millilitres of pre-filled liquid feed a dual mesh coil, run in one of two modes. How the two output modes differ

• Surge — around 25,000 puffs. A noticeably warmer and denser draw, and the mode that makes the dual mesh worthwhile.

How long does 40,000 puffs actually last?

Puff ratings assume short machine draws; real users draw longer, so about half of the printed figure is a fair everyday expectation. Using Surge instead of Regular cuts it further. The table gives both readings at three usage levels.

Use the numbers to compare models rather than to plan a calendar. In everyday use the coil, or simply losing the device, usually decides when a disposable is finished — not the liquid.

Charging & care

• Charging: USB Type-C. It reaches 80% in about twenty minutes, which is fast enough to be useful but also means you should watch the first part of the charge rather than leaving it unattended overnight.
• Modes and airflow: the control on the body cycles output mode and airflow; it does not fire the coil.
• Do not refill or disassemble: sealed and non-serviceable; opening it voids any claim.
• Storage: upright, out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
