The Star takes the 40,000-puff format and adds Vozol’s S.i.L.C. wicking, which pulls liquid into the mesh faster than a standard cotton wick. The practical result is that the last third of the tank tastes like the first — no slow fade into the dry, faintly scorched note that long-life disposables are known for.

It carries 18 ml of pre-filled liquid and runs at one of two settings: Regular, which stretches the rating the full 40,000 puffs, or Surge, which drops to around 25,000 in exchange for a warmer, heavier draw. A curved screen on the body reports battery, puff count and remaining liquid, and the 1000 mAh cell refills over USB Type-C in about 45 minutes.

How Regular and Surge differ

Both settings feed the same tank; the only thing that changes is how hard the coil is driven. Regular is the rating figure on the box — a cooler, more economical draw that spreads 18 ml as far as it will go. Surge pushes more power through the mesh, which makes the vapour warmer and thicker and empties the tank proportionally faster.

• Regular — rated 40,000 puffs. Best for all-day use and for getting the most out of each device.
• Surge — around 25,000 puffs. Best when you want a heavier, warmer draw and do not mind buying more often.

You can switch between the two without wasting liquid, so a single device can cover a light morning vape and a much heavier evening one.

How long does 40,000 puffs actually last?

The 40,000 figure is measured with short machine draws on the Regular setting. Real draws are longer, and Surge burns roughly a third faster again, so treat the honest figure as somewhere between half and two thirds of the printed number. The table gives the printed rating alongside a 50% reading at three usage levels.

Use the puff count to compare models rather than as a promise. Staying in Regular and keeping the airflow half open is what lands you near the top of these ranges.
